20XX: Handbook for the Recently Deceased

YOU ARE DEAD. This is still quite a shock to you, as it’s all happened recently. Fortunately, you have recently found a relatively friendly group of poltergeists who have passed on to you a copy of the HANDBOOK FOR THE RECENTLY DECEASED. You have been studying the rules and guidelines laid out in the handbook, and you have a new perspective on how to Move On. But the last few pages of the handbook are torn out, so you don’t know exactly how to make that happen. It is your new goal to find a complete copy of the Handbook and make the transition to the Other Side.

Handbook for the Recently Deceased is a lo-fi modern/urban fantasy RPG based on the 24XX SRD by Jason Tocci (CC BY 4.0). It was created for One-Page RPG Jam 2024. The file "20XX_Handbook-a4.pdf" contains all the rules on one A4 page, with GM aids and a cover on the back. Printed double-sided, this will fold into an A5-sized booklet. For those who would like larger print, the file "20XX_Handbook-letter.pdf" is formatted as a letter-sized 4-page document, with the cover in front.

The game was created using the theme "Rulebook for the Recently Deceased"... which is not the theme for One-Page RPG Jam 2024. It is the theme for Week Sauce (July 2024). I have no idea how I made that mistake, but I did. But I'm going to submit this anyway, and try to come up with another entry that actually fits the correct theme.
